 S8300 Server
The S8300 Media Server resides inside a G700, G350 or G250 Media Gateway. It can be used as a standalone
communication system or as a fully surivable remote gateway. The S8300 can be the primary controller
for up to 50 remote G250, G350 and G700 Media Gateways.
As with the S8400, S8500 and S8700 series Media Servers, the S8300 supports the Linux operating system
and it is powered by Communication Manager. It supports industry standard call control, quality of
service, management functions, and IP, digital, and analog endpoints.
 S8400 Server
The S8400 Media Server is a Linux-based server that provides Communication Manager processing functionality
in stand alone, single port network (PN), telephony systems requiring up to 900 stations.

 S8500 Server
The Avaya S8500 Media Server is a rack mounted telephony server. The S8500 runs the Linux operating System, with Communication Manager software. The S8500 can support Internet Protocol (IP), Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), and traditional endpoints.The S8500 Media Server is a simplex server that allows for a distributed enterprise over an IP infrastructure. (Maximum of 3200 ports). The Avaya S8500 Media Server supports up to 2,400 users and allows for all Media Gateways to be used including G250, G350, G450, IG550, G650,G700& IG550.
 S8700 Server
The S8700 Server line offers three different models, all of which offer duplicated processors for greater reliability. The processors can be separated up to ten kilometers (6.3 miles) to help ensure business continuity. The S8710 Media Server is based around an Intel processor, while the S8720 Server and the S8730 Server use the AMD Opteron and AMD Opteron Quad Core processors, respectively. The IP-Connect platform is scalable to 64 Port Networks, each of which can house up to four G600s and up to 250 G700 Media Gateways.
 S8800 Server
The S8800 series common server is a powerful and reliable processing platform that is ready to support Avaya Aura communications solutions today and in the future. The Avaya S8800 Server leverages Intel’s latest Xeon E5500 series (Nehalem) processor technology, and is available in both 1U and 2U form factors. Most Avaya applications will use the S8800 1U server chassis; some applications that require a large number of hard disk drives and / or plug-in cards will use the 2U version of Avaya S8800 Server.
